Imagine living in a hotel for three months and having no complaints. Pacifica Suites in Santa Barbara is located on lush grounds of exotic plants and trees including avocado, banana, and even cork trees. The beautiful property is across the street from a citrus grove which smelled sweet and added to the tranquility of the hotel.

Each morning we walked to the breakfast room for our choice of bacon & eggs or cereal, yogurt, and croissants. The hotel has an automatic espresso machine that ground fresh beans for any type of specialty coffee drink that you can imagine.

Every evening we enjoyed wine and cheese in a reception room off the lobby. Three nights a week we got to share a glass of wine and chat with our favorite business traveler Norma who often brings her obedient and friendly dog.
