I met Laura for the first time at Humboldt State University where she taught my Essentials of Finance class.

On the first day of class, Laura came into the classroom with an aura of dynamic energy and collected confidence. She greeted every student with eyecontact, a handshake and personable interest. I immediately liked her style and professionalism, for she was serious about us learning the material but had a wonderful sense of humor and balanced the serious side of finance with the humorous side of everyday life.

Her breadth of knowledge and actual life experiences are refreshing and inspiring. Especially for an ambitious young woman, such as myself, it was awesome to have an honest Businesswoman like her to teach this course.

Thank you so much, Laura, for keeping it real and teaching me the knowledge and motivation to take charge of my personal and professional finance goals. I look forward to remaining in contact.
