Joomla Book Review

Book Review
I am excited to announce that I have been selected by Packt Publishing® to serve as a technical reviewer on an upcoming book on Joomla Extensions. Technical reviews (also called editorial and content reviews) are performed by individuals with technical knowledge or background. Reviewers assess the quality of the content in terms of its readability, communication of information, and suitability for the particular audience. This is the fourth book that I’ve reviewed and the first on technology and/or software. The previous books include:
  • Fundamentals of Corporate Finance (manuscript), Bodie, Merton, and Crawford, Prentice Hall®
  • Finance: Investments, Institutions, and Management, 2/e. Stanley G. Eakins, Addison-Wesley®

Joomla! Day West 2007

Joomla announcing 1.5 is coming soon.
Joomla! Day West 2007
Recently held in San Francisco Joomla! Day West 2007 was a great way for about 100 people to acquire new information on Joomla 1.5 and a great way to hook-up with Joomla resources. Here are some of my thoughts after the unconference: Allen Gunn flawlessly moderated the unconference.
