Fishin' for a Reliable Drupal Theme?
Swim on down to the shark tank and check out these themes.
Theme Shark Themes
Late last year I purchased the Galapagos theme from Theme Shark. Naturally I was cautious since so many theme purchases have been bad investments; I really hate throwing money down the CMS hole. Imagine my surprise when I installed this delightful theme and it quickly transformed my drabby Drupal site into a pretty and functional site.
Here are some of the attributes you get with Theme Shark themes:
- More than a dozen regions (collapsible!)
- Choices of menus, colors, and fonts
- Banner region in header for advertising
- Custom Typography
- Tableless CSS Layout
- Suckerfish Menus
Who can benefit from this theme? I've recommended Theme Shark to many clients who want a simple and affordable theme solution. Since I provide Drupal training, many clients are "do it yourselfers" who are attracted to the affordability of open-source CMS programs. They tend to have tight budgets and short deadlines. Small NGOs, businesses, and munipalities can all benefit from this affordable solution.
Did I mention the price tag? The Galapagos theme costs $69 which is about what I paid for a Monster Template that is awkward and built with tables.
I have no hesitation in recommending Theme Shark. In my opinion they are the best, low cost theme solution. Take a bite out of the cost of your Drupal installation with these affordable, functional, and attractive themes.

Themes
Submitted by Jim (not verified) on Mon, 09/14/2009 - 07:40.I am new to Drupal and am starting the process of looking for the right Theme for a inner city ministry, budget is tight. I am trying to learn what to watch out for. Any pointers would be appreciated. Also, when looking at themese I notice that the text is some language I do not recognize. What language is it, and at the risk of sounding arrogant, why not English?
